Venance
The early years
Venance was born in Kilimanjaro Region as the 6th born child out of nine.
A tragedy, which should have a huge impact on his life and lead to his wish to help children in need, occurred in 1994. Serious head injuries after falling from a tree had him hospitalized and resulted in a coma of more than 4 weeks. After intensive medical treatment over a span of 6 months he had to regain his ability to walk and speak by attending regular physiotherapy and speech lessons.
Despite his struggles to regain his memory and the ability to walk and talk, he managed to complete his  primary education in 2001. After completing secondary school in 2005, he managed to achieve an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management.
Venance is a hard working person and has never given up despite the hardships he has gone through.
Today he materializes his dream to help children in need and to be a role model for them through his foundation – in which he puts all his efforts. He shows everyday that despite his disability it’s possible to life a normal life and even help others in the process.
